dont read

Thursday, we got this Iktikaf program, held at surau Al-Amin. Me and Muadz arrived late, at about 11, lol. Then, we thought in our mind "Its better to be home rather than come late as everyone has already getting ready for sleep." Haha, what a freak. Whatever it was, the program was fun and full with 'sth-i-dont-know-what-it-called-as'. Well, me muadz and mirin didnt sleep early. We sneaked out! From the surau only, haha. We stayed up under the moonlight, chatting and crapping and snapping and singing and laughing and eating and drinking. We even went to the canteen and ate some foods, hehe. Then we went for a walk around school and felt whatever we felt, creepy.
Friday, school was heck sleepy and tiring. Felt like sleeping all day. The eyes, ohh, dewy. After school, me zufa ehsan sap mirin paan kamil aduka salman zaid baem helped at the bazaar. The scene? HAVOC AND RIDICULOUS. I even burnt my hand-hair to the fire. We got stupid, lmao. It was hell tiring but I tell you, it worth your energy. That nite, got some iftar prog for Al-Aminians. A little people helped. Somebody quarreled and word-fight with anak Harun. So the emo. So does people who argued with him, ridiculously tempered and emo and gahh, stupid. I just dont understand how people can solve probs by raising their voice and be such an ego. Whatever. Afterwards, me zufa and aduka walked our way to the bus stop. I even got my feet into some blind-hole, lol. Then, we founded out a bus stopped few meters away behind, so we thought that we had to run to it and catch it as we're not on the bus stop yet. We stupidly ran with me carrying my woks, aduka and zufa with their sleeping bag and tote. Seriously, it was GOOFY. Got on the bus, the driver told us "bas tak jalan lah adik." Damnn. But he made it start again few minutes later. Reached home at about 11 sth, zufa and aduka slept over here. It was frantically chaotic and merry.
Oke enuff of my stupid writings, bye.

egocentrism and hypocritism

Semua orang nak kawan.
Semua orang perlukan kawan.
Hidup neh tak best tanpa kawan.
Tapi tak semua setiakawan.
Hanya setakat kawan makan kawan.

Semua nak kawan dengan kawan.
Semua tak nak kawan dengan lawan.
Tapi kenapa bila dah dapat kawan,
Mula nak mengata belakang² macam lawan?

"Eee, kenape kau kawan ngan die uh?"
"Eee, die uh *tuut* lar, tak layak kwn ngan aku."
Egocentric, macamla kau tuh perfect sangat.
Semua percakapan jadi mainan.
Huruf dan ayat hanya sekadar kiasan.

Tapi satu masa kau jadi kecut.
Bila kawan katakan yang benar kau jadi kalut.
'Sorry', susunan 10 jari mohon maaf, kata² manis dan pujuk rayu.
Sejuta kata dan pengakuan membuta sahaja tak laku.
Semua tu bole pakai sekali sahaja,
Macam siput sedut, sekali sedut sekali rasa.

Kenapa mesti malu nak mengaku kawan?
Kenapa tak nak cakap depan² kalau tak nak kawan?
Kenapa mesti kecut perut macam cipan?

Lepas tu kau blah, tinggalkan kawan terbuntu².
Hancurkan hati kawan, biar luluh jadi debu.

Tak perlukan dalihan² "Weh aku dah lupakan la prob uh, sorry."
Sebab tu hanya kata² kau, 'kawan' yang palat tak sedar² diri.

Cuba sedar dari lamunan berangan kau, bangun buka mata.
Kawan cuba betulkan apa yang salah.
Kawan kene la pandai jaga hati kawan.
Cuba hapuskan hypocrisy dan egocentric,
Because friends will forgive, but not forget.

Malaysia's 'worst in the world' taxis tarnish national image

Taken from MSN news:

The ads promoting "Malaysia: Truly Asia" aim to welcome visitors with a warm smile to a prosperous and modern nation, so the taxi fleet branded "the worst in the world" can come as a bit of a shock.
Even the locals are not spared the shabby service of unkempt and hostile drivers behind the wheels of decrepit vehicles who refuse to use the meter, overcharge and pick-and-choose which destinations they will travel to.
At the popular KLCC mall under Kuala Lumpur's iconic Petronas Twin Towers is a typical scene, as a gang of cabbies negotiate with a young Norwegian couple just metres from a signboard warning against "taxi touts".
"Flat rate, flat rate, no metre," one driver insists as the tourists try to find a cab to take them to their hotel, less than two kilometres (1.2 miles) away.
Anxious to escape the baking heat, they agree to pay 25 ringgit (7.22 dollars) for a trip that would have cost less than three ringgit on the meter.
"Is it expensive? We don't know, we thought it is normal here," said the woman as they piled in with their shopping bags.
More frequent visitors, however, are vocal in their criticism and say that aggressive and unprofessional drivers are tarnishing the nation's image as a squeaky clean and hospitable destination.
"I first visited Malaysia in 2006 and I was impressed by everything I saw except for the worst taxi service I have endured," said Kabir Dali, an Indian tourist waiting in vain for a metered taxi at another mall.
"I paid a whopping 260 ringgit (74 dollars) from the Kuala Lumpur International Airport to town and was later told that was twice the proper amount."
Complaints about taxis are common in many countries, but in Malaysia it has escalated to an outpouring of frustration, on blog sites and in letters to newspapers.
In a survey by the local magazine The Expat, some 200 foreigners from 30 countries rated Malaysia the worst among 23 countries in terms of taxi quality, courtesy, availability and expertise.
The respondents lashed the fleet as "a source of national shame" and "a serious threat to tourists -- rude bullies and extortionists".
Salvation is in sight though, as a number of smaller, up-scale operators enter the market to provide a more expensive but quality taxi service for frustrated visitors and locals.
The uniformed drivers, behind the wheels of smart new multi-purpose vehicles and sedans, switch on the meter as a matter of course and do not refuse destinations -- surprising and delighting commuters in the capital.
Abdul Razak, operations manager for Dubai-based Citicab which launched here in January, said that even in poorer nations such as Thailand and Indonesia, taxis are smarter and the drivers far more courteous.
"I would say it is the worst in this region, undoubtedly. I have travelled to all countries in this region and our company operates taxis in many parts of the world. The situation here is the worst I have seen," he told AFP.
"The vehicles are in shabby condition, the driver will take you if he likes your face -- that is, if he agrees with where you want to go for the price he insists on."
The government has called on taxi firms to lift their standards, but various campaigns have achieved little, and many blame the lack of enforcement on rampant corruption in the police and bureaucracy.
"It is difficult for the roads and traffic department to take stern action," said a security officer at one city mall as he watched the touts swoop.
"Taxi operators and the company which hold the licences are all linked to some politician or another," he said. "Drivers here are ruthless because they are unchecked by authorities who are almost non-existent."
John Koldowski, from the Pacific Asia Travel Association, said that "less than desirable" taxi drivers have an outsize impact on a nation's image.
"The first contact a tourist gets with locals is often during airport transits to hotels and it creates a very, very strong first impression, either be good or bad," he said.
"Authorities certainly need to do their jobs and act upon any complaints strongly, quickly and visibly."

PS; This is certainly a humiliating shame slam to us Malaysians :(

witless wither whine

Seriously, I'm so wishy-washy of stuffs. I'm not giving up, don't get me wrong. Just fed up, sometimes (most of the times). I slept at 3am in the morning and woke up at 4.40am for sahur today. Clearly, I could only rest my darn head full of misery business for about an hour and 40 minutes (I'm so not asking for sympathy). Pathetic, yeah. The reason why? Our lovely deary baby Semaian, of course.
Not just that, I'm sick of thinking of what's gonna happen to our Wafdul Amin project. Does it even progressing? If so, it's so the sloth-pace slow. Approximately we only got about rm12 grand only, far away behind the aim of rm30 grand. What in the world is going on?! There're just only 2 months before it all begin, how could we ever going to face it? God help us, please, amin.
Enough moaning, oh please shut me up. Wish me luck, that's all I need for now.
Bye.

ramadhan kareem

Today, few words should describe best. Havoc, craziness, hungry, thirsty. For the first time ever, we could gather the whole school (plus SRIAAG) altogether under one roof. As a result, no space to breath. Its not easy to get everyone under one roof, and it was really a time of the life, I think so. After solah, we needed to go for tadarus. After the prayers, everyone was kinda busy with their own stuff, running there (not particularly) and here, walking, discussing, panicking etc.. Ahhh, it was rather CHAOTIC! Enuff said, haha. Well, I think some of us really enjoyed being in that state of 'happiness'. The surau was heck out of control. So havoc and busy and packed and filthy and sweaty and dirty and full and narrow and packed (do I have to mention it twice?) and jam and crazy and so much fun and so all.
And don't have to remind about what happened in the after-school. Traffic was heavily congested along on the both side of Jalan Pintu Masuk Al-Amin and continuously heavy traffic from Gombak to Ampang, again on the both sideways (I think I could be a traffic reporter). We were stuck just in front of the school for about 25 minutes which get our nerves up and we started honking like we're in some sort of children car-play heaven. Yeay.
Well, that's all for now. I'm not in the mood and hell way busy to write sth here. Bye.

PS; We're in Ramadhan now. Hope that we all could do as much pahala as we could in these Shahrul Barakah. May Allah bless us. Good luck :)
